- Chandelier: add your room's length and width in feet. The total, in inches, is your ideal diameter.
- Over a dining table: 1/2 to 2/3 of the table width, hung 75-90 cm above it.
- Wall lights: centre them 1.5-1.7 m from the floor.
- Ceilings under 2.4 m: choose a flush ceiling light.

Our Story
Light, the Parisian way
In Paris, a room is judged by its light. From our base in Paris, our small team chooses each piece for its presence, the light it gives and the way it holds its proportions once hung.

Our Selection
Chosen piece by piece
We look at hundreds of designs to keep only a few, judged on three things: how they look, how they light a room, and how they hold their proportions once they are hung.
Discover the collectionSwitch off the power and let the bulbs cool. Wear cotton gloves and gently wipe each crystal with a soft, lint-free cloth, lightly dampened with a mix of warm water and a little washing-up liquid or isopropyl alcohol. For a quick clean without taking it down, use a dedicated chandelier spray and let it drip dry onto a protected floor. Never spray the electrical parts.
We strongly recommend having your chandelier installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations. Check that your ceiling can support the weight of the fitting.
A simple rule: add the length and width of the room in feet; the total, in inches, gives a good starting diameter for your chandelier. For example, a 12 x 14 ft room suits a chandelier of about 26 inches (66 cm) wide. See our Size Guide for room-by-room advice.
Choose a diameter between half and two-thirds of the width of your table, and leave at least 15 cm between the chandelier and the edge of the table on each side.
Over a dining table, the bottom of the chandelier should sit 75-90 cm above the table. In a room where people walk underneath, keep at least 2.1 m of clearance from the floor.
